Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) with Emergency Breathing System (EBS)
This Training is to meet the further offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for personnel new (or returning) to the offshore oil and gas industry who will be supplied with a rebreather emergency breathing system (EBS) during offshore helicopter travel.

Information
This Training provides learners with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practise during drills, exercises and emergency training offshore.
The FOET (with EBS) is open to persons who have a valid (in-date) OPITO-approved BOSIET (with CAEBS), BOSIET, TBOSIET, FOET (with CAEBS), FOET or TFOET certificate.
This course includes physical activities, and learners must be medically fit to participate. Learners must hold a valid offshore or employer-approved medical, a recognised fitness-to-work-at-sea or diving medical, and/or complete an OPITO medical screening form at SEQU. Learners are responsible for declaring any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
